Game: Netstorm - Islands at War

i am NOT a fan of rts games. but i have made an exception for this game! first of all, its original and a very unique game. although no one else mentioned this, its got a bit of a puzzle element. you start on an island and have to build bridges to connect to geizers (for resources) and other islands, now the puzzle element comes in with the bridge building as you are given random shaped bridge peaces and must place them strategically. Also the vast majority of units are stationary so its not just a matter of making the biggest army, its about strategically placing the units. and although static units doesnt sound exciting, it is! the action gets really intense when you have to quickly build something to counter your enemies building (as many buildings have limited ranges or arcs of fire). oh and the game is started with one unit, the priest whome is the most important and must be protected at all costs, he is invincable but can get captured and sacrificed.
