Nowhere Else and Beyond (NEAB) is fantastic. Out of the countless other online games I have ever played, this one is the best by miles. Not a single other RPG comes close to how great NEAB is. What makes it so great? Asides from boasting a friendly, unique, and honest community and staff, this game also has limitless depth. Not only can you focus on fighting off the baddies with several different classes of fighters, you can also manage your own store in the market, create your own island which can be viewed and visited by any other Neabian, do one of the hundreds of unique quests, chat to the other players, make your own dungeon, craft your very own items to either be sold or to be used as equipment yourself, mine, fish,cook, travel to clans! The amount of content in this game is enormous! Why the list of things you can do in NEAB stretches on and on! The best part of it all is that the Neab admins add new content to the game practically every week! And no it is not just simple things like a new weapon, or a new monster, the Neab admins make HUGE additions to the game! At one time they might add a whole new spectrum of tiles for an island builder to choose from, another time they might add a new field for the market to expand into, another they might add new auditory sensations (music and sounds) to improve the experience of the game, and another they will make a new server to make the game even more enjoyable and fast for Neabians! Lets not forget the moderators on this site. From Neab, I can honestly say that each of the staff members is committed to his or her job and does it honestly and good. There may be a small conflict between ideas between a regular member and a staff member, but each party in the end works it out, and the fun continues. This is why I can say this is a great community. Nobody holds lasting grudges here, each is friendly to another, and each understands that we are on this game to have fun!
Now what is truly incredible is that this game is free. Absolutely free. With all the work the admins do, with all the amount of space that this game requires on servers, with all the bills that meet the admins, this game remains free. Now you may be saying that there needs to be SOME way the admins have to pay all these bills. Ads? Nope. Not ads. There is not a single Ad on Neab. Its called a nifty item called a Diamond Token. For every Diamond Token bought, a user has to pay $5, REAL money. However! A Diamond Token is worth the money, as it is a valuable game object that can get you valuable things. And you are NOT in anyway at all forced to give any money to the game. Buying a Diamond Token is completely voluntary.
Now. There is one single drawback to this game: Its graphics. The Neab graphics are less than superb. Yet if you were to see this games 2-D graphics, and also see that this game can work on most browsers, you'd assume that graphics have to be simple no? Better graphics also require better servers, which require more money. In order to get that money, the game would have to charge it's players. However, the NEAB admins choose to keep it free, at the sacrifice of excellent graphics for the game. I do not complain. The depth of this game and its friendly community makes up immensely.
I wish I had found this game sooner. This game is truly remarkable, and it would be idiotic not give it a try. :)
