I have to disagree. Credits, which can be obtained easily be buying them through the "Credit Sales" section of Maps and Markets make credits be able to be bought with 1-3 days income. Also, new players could just stay in the Hyperiums Protecterate and build up their exploits and, with the ability to now build fleets in Protecterate, build up an army to withstand that of the veteran players. I would also like to comment that if an alliance is dominating a super-cluster, thats why new form. In the last round, round 4, there was 12 of these super-clusters, or "universes" as previously called, each with their pwn dominating alliance, alliances, or none.
