The only downside of this game is that you may be lost in the beginning due to the many options and strategies.
Just hang on, starting over again with a new kingdom may be necessary but then you will get the basic grasps.
What makes this game better than the others out there?
1. Turns
You get 1 turn every hour, you can stockpile 100 of them. Meaning you don't have to sit all day long behind your pc, you can still play all your turns if you are not able to acces the internet for 4 days.
2. Resources/building types
Other games mostly work with 1 or 2 resources, this makes it rapidly boring for me. Aegis on the other hand has 4 different resources AND special buildings you can plan. This means you can play different strategies
3. No resetting in ages or something
Aegis doesn't reset, you will not have to start over from 0 once you begin building. The strongest player becomes emperor and gets yet another new unit to go further with the game
4. Friends/Community/other players
Ask and you will get an answer in Aegis VERY quickly. Friends can be made easily as the players know you might become the next emperor ;)
