ToadWater

I don't care what people tell you, or what your first impressions of the game are. It's a great game filled with hours of gameplay value, a great community (as long as you don't try to be a pest), and... it's a great game. ---------------------------------- Don't read beyond this point unless you are interested in the game. Firstly, I can't find any relation with it and Harvest Moon. When you see that, don't think it's some sort of huge rip off. Play it, get to know it... and after that first part in Cloud World, you're home free. Also, you can't forget that if you like huge fighting games or are expecting to be a toad warrior who uses his staff to cast mystical charms and curses on your foes... go somewhere else. If ToadWater is anything, it is NOT an action game. It's more of a "SRPG", a Strategical Role Playing Game. It's not an RPG like Final Fantasy. It's its own genre. As you should know, the beginning is a really tough start. Blah blah blah. Read the manual. After that beginning push, your character should start to prosper. It's probably a good idea to wait until you are around level 50 to jump, however many players have jumped at level 30< and still done fine. But remember: French Breakfast Raddishes, level >5 fences (recomended), and people whom you know and who live in the area you ar jumping to (to find out where to jump from look at Giasumaru's map in a topic called "World Of ToadWater"). Lesson: Don't let raiders get you down. If your base is raided by some player, remember, it's just a game. If you want to become the next ToadWater God (Yes, players can become ToadWater Gods and get their very own statue for other players to purchase!) then be prepaired for alot of work. It's very VERY difficult to get to rank 10. Just don't give up, and you should be set. For more information beyond this, read the manual, talk to people, and have fun. ...Just don't spam the boards...
