An excellent turned-based strategy game!

Grow an empire from scratch. Starting as a humble village leader you plan every step of the way. Help your village to grow prosperous by building farms, timber yards, quarry's, and textile mills. Word spreads of your well run realm and soon peasants looking for a better life start immigrating to your lands. The market you planned is doing excellent business and the city coffers are filling quite nicely. The citizens hailed you at the opening of the new hospital you built. But then you remember that a neighboring city-state was crushed by warlords from the north only last year. Her treasuries looted, her citizens enslaved. Maybe some soldiers and city walls would be wise. And maybe you will reconsider the offer of the neighboring kingdom for aid in your defense. This turn based resource management game allows you to test your leadership skills to the max. Play with other strategists from all over the world. You get 24 turns per day to develop, build, defend, and attack city-states. As the ruler of your province you decide how your city take shape. Will it live by plunder like the vikings of old. Or maybe develop a vast trade empire like the Phoenicians. Possibly a kingdom in a loose federation of city-states like Athens. And if you are truly gifted your kingdom just might develop a new empire and found a new imperial golden age like Rome's. This Game is a free, browser-based game. Works fine with a low bandwidth connection and a grace period allows you to get used to the game before other kingdoms can attack you. The game is run by a group of professional programmers who regularly update the game and it's forums are active. I highly recommend this game and and am known in that world as Archadius.
