In this game like it says first you begin a chracter of a race. Each race has unigue abilities, such as an elf being immune to a plague which can happen by chance by opening any treasure chest and other things. When you first begin the game you get one extra life I like to call a "NewbLife". Once you get a certain distance out though, your character "commits suicide", and you have 1 life. Yes, "Perma death" may come to your mind, which is true. Meaning, you die once, and your character is gone forever...unless for some specail cicumstances. There are ceratin things you can become which gives you extra lives. Also in this game there are "wizards". These are like judges, they may ban you from the game permantly so be nice around them :). They also may choose theier favorites to be apprentices, which have a wizard's abilioty to a lesser extent. In conclusion, this game has alot to do, but if a monster kills you and you die it can be quite depressing.
