Great Game, Great Community

I have played a number of text-based game over recent years, some of them I only played a number of times and other maybe a few weeks perhaps. The Five Pillars is probably the only text-based game I have played where I stayed the longest.

I could tell you that the game is great, but all other text based games are also great if you ask their loyal followers. and truth be told, some elements of this game can be found on other games in this genre.

But what set the game apart, and what keeps me coming back for more is the community. It might not have a big community but it is very active and very helpful to new players. In a way the community has become my virtual family, where i would always hang out after a long day in the office and when I desperately needed to unwind.
