This game is fairly quick to learn and the play mechanics are easy to master, but definitely requires some planning and strategy to get anywhere. New games (or 'rounds'), where everyone gets a fresh start, occur monthly. HGMQ is pretty reasonable if you're looking for something where the time commitment is not too large. A nice aspect is that there are differenct strategies that seem to allow you to optimize your play style according to your frequency of log-ins. I've been playing for about three weeks and it's still holding my interest.
