barest bones, slow Diablo

Game: Mercenary Lords

I can hadle bad graphics. I like bad graphics, but SLOW graphics drive me crazy. I have a fast machine & Internet: yet this runs pig slow, commodore-64-like graphics. You had better be desparate for a 30 yr old Diablo experience. No story. If you lose to a monster stronger than you, you don't die: u are merly, "humiliated". You can't simply DIE in this game. Where is the chalenge There seem to be noob, human players all over the map with less money & experience than me, who I can kill, right out of the gate. How can this be? I suspect that they arn't real players. I killed 10; there was no end to my turn; I just closed the window. Why did I give it a 2; such a good rating? Start up was easy: One click and you are in.
