I have tried other games and UW(UC) holds my attention better that the rest. I have a paid account and there are ZERO adds. It is a little polical, but what war isn't. There are tons of options for you to manage your empire and rule as you see fit. You can go solo or join a federation. UW is challenging and fun. Also a great place to socialize.
