I love this game

Aegis, is a turn based role playing game, and takes you further from the experience of just playing it.
I’ve learn throught out my stay in Aegis, that to really be involved in it we must work as a team or as a community.
Starting from a little province, surpassing all the problems of economics, military, resources, growth and evolve in the game has all the ingridients for a wonderfull game. Well Aegis is much more than that. You can communicate with many different players from many different countries, create your own kingdom and have your vassels pay tribute to you. I must say this is an outstanding game.
In Aegis we learn everytime we advance in the game, their different paths you can persue, Religion, Magic and Science, each with unique caracteristics. Adding to all of this you have to plan different type of buildings to help your province, from the smaller ones like textile mills, farms and tax offices, to more serious buildings like Palace, an Administration Hall or Explorers guild. There’s lots of them to plan that influence your province growth. Each has it’s own porpose in your province.
Politics has a major role in this game, wheter between inter-kingdom relationships or dealing with your peasants that get nervous everytime you increase taxes.
Aegis, it’s a fantastic game, it doesn’t have to please everyone by it’s game mechanic, it’s not our aim.
One of our goals it’s to make Aegis a special community where everyone has an important role to play.
Based on my experience, this is a very adictive game. It doesn’t have futuristic 3D pictures, action packed with explosions and bodies screaming for pain. However Aegis has got, interactions between players all over the world, estrategic planning and warring, diplomacy, internal and external politics, human and resource management… and this is what makes Aegis so different.
