The same as the rest

I haven't played it myself but I've seen it being played, I've seen screenshots, I've read about it. It's just like very other RPG!! Fight, level up, get weapons and armor, trade, fight monsters, BLAH BLAH. I'm sick of these types of games. There is absolutely nothing unique about them!

This game is awesome, I first heard about it on the adventuress site, that girl is crazy, very entertaining I'll tell ya. She plays all the adventure games then writes about them on her site. Everyday theres something new and pretty damn funny if you ask me

sneakingly addictiive

(5/5) Reviewed by User: Asaria on Mon May 08 2006
Been "addicted" to DC on and off since about 1998 or 99. Gameplay itself is simple, just point in click and the graphics leave much to be desired. However, aside from the drivel that passes as the chat room, the Dragon Court community is one of the most awsome I have found yet. If you try the game, perservere long enough to become active on the forums and possibly join a clan. Players range from pre-teen to 60+ with a good international variety of male and female players.

Administration?

(1/5) Reviewed by User: Marina-of-DC on Mon Nov 21 2005
The game itself isn't bad if you're into the point-n-click style time waster games. But I think I should warn anyone with children, stay away. There is a chatroom associated with the game, known as Town Square.

Over the last few months, 'TS' as it's fondly called by some of us regulars, has become overrun with underage cybersex, even to the point of another user claiming he reported them to the authorities. And subsequently that user was banned...coincidence? Anyway, just my friendly warning.

Dragon Court is Fun

(5/5) Reviewed by User: Turducken on Sun Jun 05 2005
Been playing DC for years. Sometimes I wish it didn't limit me to one hour a day, but I have 15 heros I rotate through, so I don't get bored. The best part is the loot. You can find stuff with amazing and sometimes really surprising bonuses.

Ok, but far from perfect ...

Main issue is the disconnection that many players feel. The owner is very rah rah when it comes to wanting us players to find new people to play the game, but when we ask questions, or ask for feedback with a problem, we are often sol. The mods do not help the situation as most of them are simply mods to further their own agendas. Game used to be far better when it had a chat system which promoted community. As to the game itself, I would have to say it is quite fun.

Could Be Better

ok, i dont know if im not doing somthing right, but it seems you can only do something once every 24 hours or something, this game would be much better if it allowed the user to play it as much as they wanted.
this may appeal to players that only want to play a game for 10-20mins a day, but not everyone else

I don't like that the game cuts you off after a certain amount of time. This game is not all that it has been rated to be. :(

A really fun game

(4/5) Reviewed by User: LostMonster on Thu Mar 31 2005
Dragon Court is one of the most enjoyable free online games I've played. There's fun things to battle, and there's different skills you can build up, such as mage skills, and fighter skills.

I'd give the graphics a 4/5. They're nothing too fancy, and they're not animated or anything, but they look good and do a good job of depicting what they're supposed to depict.

The gameplay I'd give a 5/5 for ease of getting the hang of it, but only a 4/5 for sticking with it, because at higher levels, it can take awhile to level up, and it gets a little repetitive. But you can always take a few days off and come back and it'll be just as fun.

Overall, I'd give it a 4/5. It's quite fun, especially if you set goals for yourself. You can focus on becoming rich, becoming famous, getting the best weapons, or even just trying to kill a particularly hard boss.
