talk about a bad text game

probably the worst text based game i've ever played, and as a MMORPG junkie, i've played well over 200 text based games, and around 30+ graphical ones... this is just plain bad. Text based games can get so much better than this, and the community is a bunch of 12 year olds from RuneScape..

Arenascape is a text-browser based Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), set in fantasy world, where you can fight your friends or monsters to gain experience, items and of course become famous doing this. This game is inspired from the great ex-free java game called RUNESCAPE made by Andrew Gower and I tried to create a similar game-world. Only on a much more simple basis and at the same time I am sharpening my PhP programing skills.

It's a fan game! Jeeze!
And it's surprisingly addictive =P.

This game stinks.I cant see why somebody would give it a 5/5.My gosh it takes cities and monster from runescape.I think its kidda well lets see BORING!!!!Anyways try it for your selfs.Lol maybe you'll like it more the runescape.....

This as a reply towards the previous review:

The author obviously has no clue what he's talking about. It's a fangame, based on RS (but basically it only comes down to some monster names, and the 7 combat skills, the concept is totally different), and it was made by Silverion, owner of the tip.it domain. It's been around for ages, WITH approval of the jagex staff, who used to frequent the forums at tip.it regularly.

Throughout time the game has grown away more and more from the game it was based on. Has its own unique combat system, offers a wide variety of possible stat choices, each with it's own strenghts and weaknesses. Build your character to be good against monster, or make it great to pk other people with, and if you're lucky/skilled enough: both!

So far for the game. What really makes it worth, compared to RuneScape, is the wonderfull community it has (http://forum.tip.it, at the bottom, the ArenaScape section).

People encourage eachother, give advice, but still compete for a good spot in the rankings.

People get to know eachother, respect them, have some fun, try to bully eachother buy posting some kills. Half the fun is what you get BESIDES the game.

Over 30 000 recently used accounts, of which over 10 000 logged in during the last 2 weeks. For what started out as a fangame/tribute, that's not bad at all, for a totally free game!

And those who consider it lame: I dare you all: Try and make such a game BALANCED. You'll understand why I respect the work Silverion put into this.

Who in the world got the idea of copying runescape without permission? wwwwwwooh he's in trouble. this isn't legal.

Good game, good elements of development, easy to learn. The only catch is, you don't want to play this on a dial up 28.8 or even a 56.6. It would take FOREVER!!!
