I've been playing KOC for a couple of years now and it really is a great game. not only is it extremely addictive and rewarding, but it is not complicated to play, and there is a substantial online community of cool guys. The admins have also taken control lately and have started banning a lot of cheaters in the game, and whilst it is still not 100% clean, it's certainly playable and at least it is going in the right direction :-)

This is one of the worst games online. Not only is it purely text-based, but it's filled with hackers and this idiotic system where you can give yourself (and other people) extra troops. What this does to the game is to make it a game of "Who spends the most time on KoC?" If you were to spend ten hours a day (like some people do [yes, they're losers]), you could be the best player on it. Sorry to say that most people don't have two hours to spend on a game let alone ten hours. Whoever has the most time to burn on KoC is pretty much automtically in the top fifty.

Playability: 1/5
Again if you have ten hours to burn on a game, you'll do great. If you don't, however, make this game a part of your life and soul, you wont go anywhere. It's also PURELY text based. While most text-based games are fairly good, this one isn't because it is all text. There's no good graphics, no java, no nothing.

Complexity: 4/5
It's not hard to learn. If you're good at it, you'll go pretty far. It's pretty fair all around (except for the obvious hackers).

Pay: 5/5
Thank God you don't have to pay for this game. If you did have to pay, you wouldn't be playing it. Trust me.

Uniqueness: 1/5
There's nothing unique about this game. You get money, get weapons, troops, spies, sentries, technologies, attack others, others attack you, and you waste two hours a day clicking your mouse button on the trade system.

Overall: 2/5
I find nothing that makes KoC unique. It's a simple text-based game that doesn't add up to much. If you have extra time, this game is for you. If you have a life, don't squander it on this game. Go with your GF/BF to a movie, play Xbox, etc. Play a real game that doesn't have hackers involved.

I have played KoC for 5 days and I am loving it I play it sometimes for as long as 5 hours and have exausted all my pocket money in paying the net bills for this month!!But it is text based.Also there is a lot of cheating.The possible way to be different is by changing your commanders and when you get a army of many men leave the commanders.Never leave money in your account when you are low on your defences I have just lost 300,045 gold.Please note that when you get 2 clicks on your link your commander gets 1 soldier so after making most of your commanders try to make yourself the commander of some one.

Cheaters abound

This game -could- be good, except that it's rife with cheating (largely in the form of multiple accounts), and the administrators literally do -nothing- about it. Don't bother e-mailing them to let them know that someone's signed up with five accounts just to get around your ignores, they won't listen. Completely worthless.

A Great FREE Online Multiplayer Game

I've seen a few people playing this game and i was looking for a online game to play which you dont need to download or pay, so i went on this site and made myself an account. Once you get the hang of the game you will find it is fun to play. To play you have to attack other players to gain money which you can spend on items to make yourself better. The gamee consists of attacking, spying, defending, and upgrading with your team of people. This game is made to play over a period of time, so it might take a while to get good at it. So go to Kings Of Chaos and try it for yourself today.

You see this game you mght look at the graphics and think you have to download it. That's what I do and belive me this time it's not true. You make an account and to see that it's extra secure, you have to type in 3 things: Username, email, and password. If you like pure battling this is the game for you. All you do is battle other people and upgrade until you are a master of this game. The first day is rough but if you spend your money on buying unit production, it rocks! Play it!

This is a great game which really opens a load of possibilities on how to build an army. Contrary to several other reviews I believe this game is NOT complicated as long as u can understand all the options. Text based unfortunately so those used to 3D graphics may be disapointed but apart from that it ace and u should definitely give it a go!

I have been playing this game for only a bit over a week now i am impressed by the great potensial in gameplay entertainment this game has already i favour this game over the great warcraft 3 and battlefield 1942, the game is just incredibly addictive, iv found myself sitting at the game for hours on end, the game is so well done it adds all the ellements of fantasy warfare plus after reading battle reports supplies great imagination.

You can take my word for this game is well worth playing i suggest u give it a try, my brother didn't think he'd like it but now he won't get of.

Kings of chaos is the best rpg i have ever played and trust me ive played loads of rpgs like darkwars foxwars utopia earth2025 outwar world war 3 and kings of chaos is the best by far

KoC is one of the greatest MMORPGs out there. Even though it's text based, it is highly addicting. This game is also good in the fact that it provides several leves of gameplay. Not only is it a straightfoward rush for rankings, it also brings in social connections and dipolmancy.

I am offering new players a great way to get into the game. By clicking one my link(see below) u can join as one of my officers. As my officer, I will click on your link perodically, and tell you of a clicker. These two things will grow your army quickly. As my officer, you will also be given protection since you will then be part of a command chain that ends at Denny, ranked number 1, this is extreamly important when just beginning. With my superior spy ratings, I can also find u easy targets, people with alot of money but without a great deal of defense. So join now....

I have played on and off over the years and I tell you the newest version totally rocks. It works in real time so the game continues even if you are loged out. This makes it all the more challenging and fun. If you like this game you will also like Utopia.

This is a cool game, but very complex. It combines a lot of social networking in addition to the gameplay.

i would jus like to say that if i had the choice of any game in world and KOC then i would certainly choose KOC!!!!!! i have been playin for about 10 daays now and love the game! i have many of my friends playin as my officers and they jus love it to! if you would like to join my war machine i look forward to havin you in my army! i will offrer you protection and status if u join up now!

How to build your army

Whilst KoC is one of the more popular online games, the secret of getting the most out of it is to build an army.
The more recruits you have, the more gold you earn per turn.
There are several ways of doing this, but you will get there sooner if you have others to help you.

Joining a clan is one option.
They will look after their own, but you are tied to one group.
There are lots to choose from, and you can find many of them on the boards of GUA here:

This is a forum dedicated to KoC, with lots of advice and help.

Another way is to try Link Chains.
These are unique and allow you to build your army as fast or as slowly as you like. Again, it is forum-based, you will need to join here

but these do not entail your joining a clan or alliance, all you need do is register and then use their chains to build your army to whatever size you feel would suit you.

Another option is to find a Clickmaster. This is something which you join, click on all the links of the other members, leave your link behind and hope they click on yours.
lt's a lot of clicking in one go, so if you don't have time or prefer to stay in control of your numbers (and your options), you might want to stick with the Link Chains instead.

Kings of Chaos Review

I don't know about anyone else, but I personally love Kings of Chaos (I call it KoC) because it is so simple to play, but so in depth with the stuff you can do. The game has so many aspects. There's defense, offense, and covert actions. You must make sure that you keep your men equipped with weaponry and armor. You must upkeep that armor and weaponry (the weaponry degrades one damage point with every time you attack, and the armor every time someone else attacks you). The one annoying part is that you need to wait in order to gain attack turns (which you need to attack people) and money (yes, you get money from attacks, but if you have no attack turns and have spent your money you must wait to gain it back). I guess people voted it so low because it has no graphics, but what do you extect from a free browser based game. Myself, I think it is a great way to pass the time, but the waiting protects you from completely devoting your life to it.
