It is a very advanced game and takes some patients to learn how to play but it has so many aspects like war economy diplomacy...

A Well Made Game

As a long-time player of Galactic Fleets, I can easily say this is a great game.

This game has a realistic economy sim, with recessions, booms and everything in between. Your citizens aren't just numbers, their opinions matter. If you keep them happy, the economy flourishes. If you don't the approval rating plummets, along with your funds.

Galactic Fleets has an ingenious war system, giving ships bonuses against eachother, and bonuses depending on where in the fleet they are. I've never seen an MMORPG with a function like this. Although you don't actually see the ships moving into battle, their position matters very much. Whether a ship is in the Primary, Assault, Support or Defensive line really matters. Planet invasion is pretty advanced, too. In most games, you land and let out your troops. But in this one, you can actually send Agents ahead to gather information, or Saboteurs to cause some havoc.

Tribes in the game are really neat, too. You start as a member of one of four tribes: Altian, Casian, Raxian or Solian. None of them have bonuses. This creates an array of conflicts: Tribe v.s. Tribe, Intertribal Faction v.s. Faction, Civil Faction v.s. Faction, the list goes on. Trade between tribes is also restricted, allowing economys to fluctuate drastically.

Last but not least, the community is great. Lots of helpful players, among Traders, Pirates, Ship-Builders, War Commanders, and more. The game is very newbie friendly, and is staffed by a great Admin, plus countless volunteers such as Chat Voices, Game Guides and Forum Mods. Many personalities cover the community, from the shy type, to the crazy guy. Overall, this is a game I think you should try. Chances are you'll like it. But, if you don't, you can always try Chosen Space or CS Galaxies!

Best game ever!

Galactic Fleets is the most addictive game i've ever come across.

Besides the open-ended nature of the game the best part is that the developer is still adding on to the game! every couple months a new intricacy is added to the mechanics of the galaxy. the game also encourages factions to recruit new players instead of simply conquering their planets.

i quit all of the other browser games i played to make more time for this one!

Galactic Fleets has the simplicity to learn how to play completely within 2 or 3 days, but it is intricate enough to keep you hooked!

The community is extremelly friendly. Everyone here tries to help noobies start off on the right foot, even if they might be your enemy.

Play once a day, once every other day, And you still won't get behind! How many games can say that! If you can't spare an hour every other day Get a new job!!

In this amazing game made by Torin_Solo You can build up your own empire, take over other empires, destroy, trade, counqer.

The econmmy is run by the players, along with alliances which makes the game much more involved for the player and gives players power to help the game out a lot, i really reccomend playing this in your spare time.

I love the idea of collecting resources and building an empire.

Better yet, being given the flexibility to choose your own path and have a diverse collection of players going in different directions.

And lastly, having a great group of people who actually talk to one another.

Just.......great

The game is now well established and it is an amazing thing to play. Its well in depth but with a freedom to choose how you want to play. There are no hard and fast roads to great success.

It has a very friendly online community. Of all those I'm in I have to say it is by far the best. As the game is still developing and growing new and impressive updates are being added on a regular basis. It realy is a must. One piece of advice though, it may seem daunting at first, but join a faction and you'll be up and running in no time.

I've been playing GF for a few months and its both a fun and challenging game.
You can run an empire or take on one of the less challenging roles within your faction, but all of those roles are necessary.
Chat is an interesting experience but one that enables you to meet the more experienced players and get whatever help you need to get up and running within the game. i highly recomend it.

I have been playing Galactic fleets for a fair few months now and it has been constantly improving over that time.

Changes to how the game works and additional items and battle tactics have made it even more interesting.

The only advice is that you should join a good faction early. Factions offer help, knowledge and protection. The online community is great and will help you get started.

Galactic Fleets is a complex game and it will take you a while to learn.

it takes you into space where you run your own system and you can join a faction where you and your faction take care of each other. i really enjoy this game because everyone is friendly and willing to help you out. i would recomend this game to anyone who likes to chat and relax.

This game is by far the best web browser game ive played and i play alot.

Thier are diffrent game styles to suite each player.

Build Empires, Build Huge Fleets War with your Enemy, Or trade for everything Build huge fleets of Friegthers and trade and become King of the Economic Side. Become a Pirate and wreck havoc on the Universe.

With 4 Tribes Constantly at war with each other, This makes for one exciting and fun filled days playing this game.

Galactic_Fleets is an ever changing, almsot lifelike game ( if you're 1 million years into the future ) It involves you being in 1 of 4 tribes in a galaxy of 400 sectors, with each tribe holding about a quarter of the galaxy.

With thousands of stars to choose from, and hundreds of thouands of planets to invade,this game will keep you on your toes from the word GO.

Wether your Casian in the North West Empire, led by me. Or a Raxian Tyrant, you can control hundreds of ships, to pull resources, or to boast about your warfleet.

I urge you to try this game out!

I'd highly recommend this game. At first the game is confusing but there are many players willing to help. Once you fully understand the game, it's very fun. The community is active and friendly. I highly recommend this.
