RuneScape is a 'Massively' fun multiplayer game with alot to do. It has a total of 21 skills to improve on (not to mention Quest Points) which vary for everyone that plays liking. If you have played before and quit cause u found it boring, take it up again and do something other than what you've been doing to find it boring. (I Personally don't like woodcutting so i do it very rarely). P.S. Go to the help guides in lumbridge if you want any help at all in the game.

Runescape is a game that you make your own account and try to gain enough xp to advance to the naxt level. Sometime when you advance levels you gain access to another item or gulid. I say its o.k. because when you to the higher levels you start getting adicted to the game. Also there are alot of spammers and hackers. If you write a feedback to jagex the company who made the game won't even look at your feedback. But runescape is a very nice game if you start getting how to play it. Its also the only multiplayer game that you can advance levels and walk around. This game is also a very quick update game. Almost every holyday they will have a new object or a quest to get another cool item. And make sure you view all the rules because the are very strict with the rules!

i think this game is really good because there are lots of things to do like create characters, make them fight against monsters and do quests. the time just goes by quickly. i would reccomend this game to people who enjoy playing on games and making adventures. not all of this is a good thing because you have to pay to be a member and they only do good updates for members which is a bad thing. overall this is a really great game.

This is the best game ever I ve been playing since july 2004 and i think that runescape is a game that no-one can get off(coz its so good!!!!) I buy membership every month and I disagree highly with people who say its rubbish they even hav a shop for your mobile!

Runescape is a great game with awsome graphics and great features. But I've recently quit playing it because the community is a huge turnoff. Way to much "anti-noobism" and to much language. The game has major limitations on freedom and you become just another player no matter what level you are. Find another game cuz this one is going downhill.

This is a pretty dang good game. I've played a couple of times before, and i didn't really like it until i got into it. That includes the quests, and the killing people in the wilderness (way north a little pop up will say somthin' like you will be entering a dangerous zone yada yada). All around, it's a pretty good game.

I think that the staff of Jagex cry themselves to sleep and then play OBLIVION!! aka a game with better graphics... you can play runescape without lag with a 0.5 mb graphics card and 0.359 mb of ram. Oblivion is a real game, unlike runescape which is a bunch of block people running around.

i use to play this game for about 4 months got addicted to it..made many friends and went up to level70..then i got borrrrrrrrrrreeddddddddddd...and quit this game ever since im searching for just the perfect game...its fun to play the game...u'll get addicted to it for 4-5months i bet...but then u get sooo very bored...and then they're the scammers and the hackers...the FREE version is fun to play but the member version rocks....4on5is nice for this game..

yah..i had fun playing the game for a year or two but if you are playing the free version it gets a little repetitive. I have tried but i can't find a game online like it. There is no dowload and to play all you need to give is a username and password. So i give it a 4/5.

its semi 3d the camera is dogy there is little point its got trrible graphics i usually dont care about graphics but in this game its hard to tell what your doing and theres long winded go nowhere conversations to tell you what you have to do next

This game is pretty good for those who don't exactly have the best of computers or internet connections. It is also very cheap or even free. I myself have played this game for 3-4 years on and off. A downside is all of the younger people playing this have no respect for others and make the game very annoying. But if you got more money and a good computer I recomend a better way to waste your time. After the 3rd year of playing you relise how easy it is to level up, if of course you have no life. I Once got to lvl 65-70 in one day just for fun. I sold my accounts and GP. But if you want to save yourself from getting endless headaches, frustration, and pain in your eyes just dont play it.

Well I guess this is a decent game at its peak and obviously attracts many people's attention but when you want to play an online game, you always want to get into straight away. I just think online games would get more players if everyone was included as soon as possible. Maybe if you play runescape and you see the best armour it wouldn't be long until you can get it.. but it's a different story.

Overall: Decent graphics and people like it, 4/5

This game has been completely updated from the screen shot, unless you go on runescape clasic of course, but for that you need to be a member, but still the new graphics are brilliant especialy for a free game!
Play it now, its ver addictive

although this game was fun and had some fun aspects it was alot of repetitive work to achieve skills in the mean time you are harassed and called a NOOB 1000 times a day I played for 6 months and had top levels in the hardest skill I was harassed every day by players you can not email the site about them, you can not stop them, they travel like cowards in packs and harass you, and when you finally argue back you get banned for three days anyone who knows a good similar game let me know I will never go back to runescape

This game is a great game. But to have some real fun you have to pay for it! They could at least put some more towns in the freaking game. How could anyone keep playing this game for more than a year? Well i hope you like it (for more than a year)

yea this game is great but no game is perfect here is why. First of all it gets boring after a while but dont worry about that because there are solutions.You can become a member for more stuff but being a member doesn't even need to be done becuase its fun anyway.Well anyway secondly people call you noob constantly and may and will get on your nerves dont worry you'll see past that most of the time but it isnt bad as it seems. The game has a high lvl cap if any as far as ive seen and the gameplay is fun. You can go into the wilderness to fight other players as well and if you do you'll see how fun that can be. Also did i mention all the skills and ways of attacking their are magic arrows and different types of attacks and weapons and armour. Well all i can say is try it read about it and fall in love with it. The only downside is as follows:Spammers,Scamming,RudePlayers. Other than that have fun.

Hi Peop,

Look, runescape can sometimes be a bit boring if you don't have many friends (which you could easely make!)but you shouldn't always see the "bad side" of the game. Myself, I play runescape for almost 2 years now and I still think it's one hell of a game. You really should try it. Indeed there are a lot of updates but they aren't that bad as some people say, when there is an update, it takes about 1 minute to update the game! So why all the complaining? And they never make a game worse so... :p lol if you wanna try runescape you can add me (kimmy159). And too many people? just select another world and your problem is solved:-) Greetz Kimm

this game is the good, but it also gets boring as you keep on plying, but it still good. The only thing i don't like is SCAMMING AND HACKING acoounts. I hope they put good updates for non members because usually most of the updates are only for members and non members updates are a bunch boring updates such as (new world for non members) (new changes in barbarian village), and also i hope the upgrade there 3d grphics because it sucks....

da_fuzz23 does not know anything he must be a noob in runescape...... anyway da_fuzz23 played the stupid classical version, but now there is a second more advanced version with much more to do.da_fuzz23 you dont know anything about games u just have a crappy computer.get a better computer and then play runescape and you will change ur mind about it cause when they made the second version all the noobs got better. :-)

yeah most people will just tell you that this game is a waste of time witch i can agree with but what game isn't. this is a fun game in which you can interact with other people from around the world trading items and gaining levels. You can not be bothered by people and if you are you can simply turn the chat off and it rids you of any annoyance problems you may have. This game isn't all about fighting monsters, there are many stats you can try and raise. New and better things are being added everyday and that really makes runescape fun. And heck if you like it enough you can become a member and have access to all sorts of new things!

Runescape is, in my opinion, one of the very best MMORPGs on the web. Unlike most other MMORPGs there are lots of skills to do, so the whole game isn't just about fighting. There are about 30 different skills which you can level up in, which gives a great variety to the game. When you have explored Runescape and you know everything there is to know about the game, it gets boring, especially if you have high skill levels. Becoming member is a really good idea and it's definitely worth the 5 dollars per month. It should take you a few months to get tired of the free part of the game. (If you become member, let me recommend fletching bows; it's easy experience and you can earn a good profit just by selling it to a general store.) Runescape has a great tutorial in the beginning which helps you to easily get into the game. It's not very hard, but you need a bit of patience after your skills are higher. Crafting, cooking, woodcutting, fighting, mining, smithing, and runecrafting are just a few of the various skills you can have fun with. This game is highly addictive so WATCH OUT!

This game is in my opinoin terrible. Its got the semi-basic aspects of a MMORPG but then it also dosnet have the FuN or nice peeps,

heres a list of the things THEY DONT HAVE:
No parties(were people group togeather and share loot and do stuff)
nice people
no spammers
non-stalkers
no guilds
good quests
free acess to all the semi-good stuff
people who value your opinion
practicley impossible to be anything besides a warrior (a mage requires alot of Gold and Time as in time i mean weeks of constent playing. rangers also require money to buy arrows that will last you for a while)
the abilty to play diffrent races
no iteams that increase yur abilties :(

ok thats just a little bit of what they dont have. just walk away from this game and flip it off as you go :)

This game was fun, but its getting worse as it goes along. First of all, they update it way too frequenttly, for better or for worse, making it way too confusing. It's an overpopulated game, where a first there were few players, but now there's too many players, with you lagging out and having to reconnect every 5 seconds, LITERALLY. The people aren't worth talking to, who just bug you to have them "Buy their stuff" and follow you around, flooding your screen asking for money, and noone ever listens to you. 80% of the people who do trading with you take advantage of the lag and try to scam you. Extremely overpopulated, laggy and most important of all, it gets boring fast...

Yes its a good game but it dose take a long time to get good the chat system need a little work but thats fine personaly i love this game as i have played it for years but just becaus you start it and your a low level dont give up after you play this game awile you will love it. It also updats everyweek or more so youll more then likely not get bored i say go on play it what are you waiting for =P

it's a very good game, i'm not a member but i already have combat lvl 63 you can much do and i think that if you play it 60 min. than you play it every day! and if i becoming a member i play more.

It kind of seems pointless when you're a newbie, but it gets REEAALLY addicting when you get a little better!
You train your character by fighting monsters and as you get better, you can use better weapons, armor, fight better monsters, and do all sorts of really cool stuff!
There's money to earn, quests to do--if you haven't tried runescape already, you really have to! It's the best!!

There is a way better rune scape now. This one is even more 3D and fun! It is great to talk battle or just earn a living! If you get stuck in the game and need help add me commander414 and tell me you need my help and I will give you armour and some stuff for you to start off the game with ease.

Runescape is a very very good online multiplayer game. The game can be boring at times if your not doing a variety of quests, killing & building up your stats.

To play this game i say you need to have a great bunch of friends playing it with you sometimes my brothers and dad play it with me and it is a very fun game to play.

But i am going to rate this game in every aspect i can:

Combat:
The Combat in the games is very intense you never know whats going to happen the game gives you a variety of ways to attack your foe. Not only can you attack the AI but you can also go into the "Wilderness" where you can "player kill" also known as "PK".
I give combat a 10/10

Non Combat:
The game is not only about combat but about skill building like "woodcutting" & "Mining". I Have To Say about the non combat side of Runescape it has some downsides like mining there just isnt enough mining resources around the Runescape world.
I give non combat 8/10

Community:
The games communty is so shit you can only get the odd nice person in any on any serverof runescape all newcomers aka "noobs" are very welcome to runescape in my eyes but they dont get any welcoming of any of the higher leveled users of runescape they never help you out or anything all you get from them is a "move noob" or just a "noob".
I give community 5/10

Graphics/Sound:
The graphics & sound of the game are very good there nothing special but i give them credit for the graphics and sound.
I give graphics & sound 10/10

Fun Factor:
The game is very fun and addictive you can spend hours on the game and not get bored at all like i said "a variety of quests, killing & building up your stats" this is the way to play the game and you would be able to play it 24/7.
I give fun factor 10/10

The overall game rating i am going to give Runescape is 10/10 because it one of the best free online multi-player game going.

It was fun for 6 months. Then it got really boring. The graphics suck, the chat filter sucks, the servers suck, the servers lag. NEVER PLAY THIS. YOU'LL WASTE HALF YOUR DAY EVERY DAY PLAYING THIS. PLEASE DON'T PLAY THIS! YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DIDN'T. The only good thing is that you can sell it on ebay for tons of money if you get the stats up. But getting a JOB is much better.

this game is as fine as can be! i have played this game for a long time and it is interesting. I play three hours a day non-stop! This game is fun, exciting and the best. You can meet lots of other players worldwide. You can make/start your own parties if you want. dont listen to those other stupid guys who say this game is boring. Try it. its fun! Ok runescape is an addictive game but its rubbish someone stole my account TWICE and people call eachother 'noobs'. And so just because they just new to it doesnt mean they are 'noobish' >:( I was a lvl 101 but it didn't change i still felt like a noob. just because someone is a few levels higher it doesnt mean you can adress them as a noob!

i find it very interesting that it gets rated either a 1 or a 5...

truth is, its an RPG. a lot of times, rpg's get very boring. that is just the nature of an rpg. however, if you stick with it, it gets very enjoyable. there is a weekly update, which is always nice, so if you have somehow managed to do everything, you have something to do.

it has 21 skills, with 2 more (carpentry and summoning/taming) coming out soon. there is an absolutely huge amount of weapons/armors. there are classes of weapons/armors, from bronze to runite. there are 10-15 different kinds of weapons for each of the 7 metal types. there are also dragon weapons and armors, and barrows weapons and armors. (barrows are the legendary armor of great deceased warriors)

most of the preceeding was fact. now for the opinion.
i personally found that i played it like 5 hours a day when i first started. i played nonstop. then i was scammed of my password. i was NOT hacked, which is what most people call it. i was stupid. someone gave me their pass for mine. they didnt give me their real pass, and they changed mine. i was at first pissed off, and didnt want to play anymore. then i realized something: it was my fault. ANYTIME you are scammed or "hacked", it is entirely your fault. if you buy something for a bad price, your fault. if you tell someone your pass, your fault. if you donwload an autoclicker, a ghost mouse, or any kind of macro, you have to realize it probably has a keylogger in it. now, it may seem like that is off topic. but i belive most people hate this game because they were scammed. i now play in moderation, around an hour a day. its a pretty nice game. it does get boring on occasion, but i relly look forward to holidays and mondays, because they always do something for it. i even have my own fansite for it. i dont give it a 5 though, because there are many other fun, cheap/free games out there that beat it. it is still great though. and it plays on a macintosh, which is pretty damn rare.

this is a realy cool game.the only reason i quit is because i got hacked but i would have kept playing it.this game may not be very graphical but it is so dam addictive.the premium pay is only 5 bucks so its worth it.i suggest you play this game

I,ve played runescape for a while now but i have to say i've lost interest.
innitialy runescape is great, there is a real sense of wonder and a whole world to explore. at first the 3-d environment looks lush and like the distance it spans is endless. the mass of players online is immense and there is a real sense of community. the amount of skills that can be built on is huge which is great for perfectionists. and even at the begining there are plenty of monsters to kill, and trade seems to be thriving everywhere.

however after the honeymoon period at the begining the game's appeal decreases rapidly. everywhere looks the same, well certainly all the open areas. not only that but everyone looks the same, unless you are a member. furthermore you soon see that you cannot trust anyone, scammers everywhere. trades that look to good to be true are. although anyone should be able to realise this. the way you can talk to people is great, it would just be nice if you were talking to genuinely good people!
the game tries to give you challenges with the numerous quests you can forfill. unfortunatly they are all effectively the same. find an item bring it 2 whereeva, possible some killing and then a bit more walkin and then thats it. just walking here and there no real originality at all.
but even that is not matched by the terrible combat system! it is awful and it looks terrible too. you jst click on an enemy to attacka and then watch, mayb running away. no tactics involved and no challenge either, infact characters dont even hit each other.
as well as that you are nothing if you arent a member you feel so limited. cant go here cant do this cant raise that. it really does get on your nerves. furthermore the game sounds real bad. some music is ok but the rest is terrible and so are the sfx.
and the real problem is that no matter how different as people we are in the real world we are all the same in runescape! everyone will eventually try doing the same things. there are no user created and run clans to join or huge battles to take part in. no different races to play as and no real teamwork. i mean sure they may say i am your friend but u cant trust anyone.
so unfortunatly the great feeling at the begining is gone. you cant be bothered to explore anymore or to watch badly animated fights. i dont want to be scammed or (effectively) bullied because i am a lower level.
this so easily could of been a fantastic game. with teams, fair tradeing and great social atmosphere but its not. sure theres plenty to do, if you can be bothered. no lack of stats but they all take so long to raise. and if you are a stupidly high level then you really have been wasting precious time, and it proves how sad some people can be.
to sumerise graphics 2 (all looks the same)
sound 3 (some nice music, rubbish sound effects)
stats 5 (heaps probably too many tho)
fair trade 1 (be aware of what can happen)
friendly community 1 (no one really cares who you are just what level you are and what items you have)
lifespan 1 (the sane will get bored)
originality 0 (bar the first quest none)
battles 1 (so dull)
gameplay 1 (a few clicks of the mouse)

do me a favour dont play this unless there is nothing better to do and dont be a member for such a rip off price., when there is so much better stuff out there

This game is ausome IF YOUR A SCAMMER!!!they need more freakin mods sacmmers are everywhere, there are too many people on and everyone is a pker(player killing fagits)you cant go in the wilderness without being assasinated by gangs with 20-30 people in them inless you get on around 3am on a weekday. It so addictive though, theres lost of skills to make money(there not fun at all), this game is simple. The grafics are great, but youl need dsl to actulally veiw them. This is also a great big scam because you need to pay them 5$ a month to access the full game. This game is free forever if you want to be very poor and weak. When you a noob or just start a new account and have noob stats everyone calls you a gay ass noob and to get the hell of the site.

As a veteran of Rpg games I have been around. I dabbled with Diablo, Glanced at Guild Wars, and Wandered the Warcraft, After a considerable amount of money stumbling through different varieties of Rpgs I came upon Runescape (free to play) creating an account was childishly easy and they set up a Tutoriol Island where new players learn the basics. The Actual World itself is very well thought out with an innovative method for pking, instead of player killing mode or player killing only worlds the lands to the north dubbed by the players the Wildy is where different players roam searching for their victim, there are many different skills and countless ways for nee to experienced players to make money in the games working economy. There are quests to do, no character classes which allows deep customization and thousands of items to wear and weild which makes all players unique.
This is a very fun and dangerously addictive game. My only complaints are there are more then a handful of scammers who wander the marketplace so be careful with your money. The graphics in the game are less then amazing but I truly beleive that the sheer originality and fun in the game causes you to not even notice.

Runescape is a really fun and VERY addicting game. I played for about a year and was about level 70. It got pretty boring after you finished everything for free. Membership is kind of expensive for 13 year olds to pay per month plus the fact that most of our parents wont let us join. There are a lot of scammers or beggers which got pretty annoying. Somebody somehow got my password and changed it and i wasn't able to get it back so i lost the account i worked on for over a year. Now i have a new account and im starting over. This is a very fun fun game but extremely addicting so i suggest that you are way more preoccupied with your education or playing sports than sitting in front of the computer for hours at a time.

I've been playing this game for a while now and yes it can be frustrating at times just because it's so addictive! It is a little hard to get started without knowing what to do but Runescape does have a good tutorial. If you really like to suceed then play this game i've already got 4milion dollars over the course of like half a year ( which is actually a short amount of time). this game is in the browser so u don't have to download progams. This game is good because all the other massiveo online games that arn't browser based and give you 3 dementional worlds consistenly freeze on me. in runscape you can have high or low detail to smoother game play but even with high detail i have yet to freeze. Alround this game Rules!

bleedin' game because it just depends how long u play it. there were some ppl at my school that talk about runescape 100% of the time, they just cant shut up. I was one but i somehow i pulled myself out of the black hole that is runes*gay*p. they laugh at "noobs", no other races part from human to play as. player killing areas should bigger and surround major cities (to get from one city to another it should be a long journey with risks)

Once a lvl 100 something came into view and every one said he was "cool"... then it hit me.... he is only cool because he was sitting at the computer for 7 yrs clicking a damn piece of graphics wich look crap.

With other games, say Diablo and Starcraft, warcraft, etc. ppl dont do attacks all at once, there are cooldown rates and any unit/character, if used properly can defeat any other unit, with runescape it depends on you level... or how long the player has been wasting thier lives sitting infront of computer clicking away and killing "noobs" with no "skill" "noobs" for them means new ppl and "skill" is how long they have been wating thier lives. BOYCOT RUNESCAPE!!!! THE GAME SUX!!!! - if a runescape lover tries to answer, they have 2 possible outcome : playing runescape for the rest of thier lives... or realising that it was a leech on your social life and wasted you time and possibly money... This game is so damned addictive but the freggin game doesn't go at all fast on my comp. The graphics are always being choppy on me. Most people will just laugh in a newbie's face (happened to me) you need too pay a 'premium fee' to acess certain area's. The acual people's faces and stuff need alot more work. You think the tutorial needs to really be THAT long!? No races (goblin, Tauren, orc) to choose from. Lots of people on there are scammers. The screen has this weird, freaky darkness to it all the time, compared to some games. Personally i hate this game, most of you probably think thats only cause i can't play it but thats not the case. Also i hate the fact that you can't make 'parties' to play around with... Personally, if you want a REALLY good MMORPG,
Join WORLD OF WARCRAFT.
You might have to pay, but its worth it!

Runescape 2 was fun for a long time, trying to get my stats up, doing quests, etc. I had done Hero's Quest, All of the non-members quests, Lost City of Zanaris, I could weild dragon, 1 level away from wearing it, cut yews, fish in the fishing guild, and mine in the mining guild. I had high stats but i still quit. Runescape is "fun" as most people put it, but after you quit, you say it's more of "addictive". I find it much esier to get better grades in school, stay active and play outside, and have fun doing other things. I think Zezima(s) play the game way to much. Some people think Zezima is more than one person, some think it's only 1 boy, and others only 1 girl. I still say Zezima, how many people call themselves the masters of RuneScape, is totally addicted.
Off of the topic of the top addict, many people disagree with me. But when you are forced to stop playing it for educational, health, or other reasons, you will see. I encourage so many people to stop playing it if they 'can'. It includes different stats of 'slaying' and 'theiving' that seem to be unhealty for peoples minds, especially pre-teens and teens. After you quit, you will see many of your friends quitting because the only real purpose of playing it was to talk to you everyday. It is alot esier to find much better things to do with your time than sitting looking at a comuter screen for hours on end. It is also very unhealthy.
Please consider quitting or atleast cutting down on the time you spend on the game.

I played for about 2 months. And it was fun for the first month, and then you just walk back and forth, from one place to another. It's really addictive, but it get's boring after a while. And there are alot of scammers on this game. It's fun for a 10 year old but any older and it's boring.

Runescape Classic is a pretty good game. The graphics on it are the best I have seen for a online rpg game. Runescape also has a bad side to it, It is really addictive and you can waste your life infront of it, IE. Zezima. Zezima has played the game 24/7 and its pretty pathetic. You really shouldn't have to pay for the membership just add ads to ursite and thats ur income. Overall, Its a really good game if your bored.

this is an amazing game that i dont understand why people think it is crap ye i have been playing it for like 2 years and it does get abit boring at times but you get over that and if you have a good group of friends on it you can talk to them when you are dooing sumin boring like yew cutting.

you se I am a non member becasue i dont think you really have to pay to enjoy it maby it would be even funner to be a member i dont know alli do know is that there is lots of new stuff and places.

i am very good at making money because i am a non member the best way for me to make money is to cutt yews and sell them for like 250gp each so if you have 4k yews there is u first 1mill i have about 27mill at the moment and i am still having fun

It's true, you have to spend some TIME actually improving skills in this game. OH NO!!!!..... Truly an excellent ROLE PLAYING game, something which a lot of these reviewers (those who give it a 1/5) apparently don't have a clue about!!

Give it a try, but realize that to really do well in the game, you'll have to come back for months. To enjoy the game really only takes one visit.

I love this game. The gameplay is great, the free quests are great, and there is no need to subscribe, unless you really want to. The graphics are pretty good, and in 3d.
Navagation is easy, as you have a mini map in the corner of your screen, and also a large map on a seperate page.
I like the beginning of the game, as when you first register, you start on a tutorial island, which takes you through all the basics which you need to survive, uch as fishing, cooking, mining, smithing, etc.
The quests are good, as they range from easy to very hard. There are always updates on the game, such as new items, and new quests, or minigames, so there is always something new. I have subscribed to reap all the benefits of this game, and the price is great, its only approx £3.20 a month depending on how you pay, as thy have all the usual ways, and they also have text message subscriptions.
I also like the fact that you dont have to download any files or software etc, you can play online, but it is up to the individual whether they want to download it and have a shortcut on their desktop.
There are also two settings for people whoare on dial up or broadband, so it is compatible with anyone.
This is an ever expanding game, and hours of fun, I would recommend it to anyone, and to anyone who is not completely sure, all I can say is just have a go, its free, with no downloads, what have you got to lose?!

OMG...Runescape. One of the worst MMORPGs I've ever played...
The graphics are crud. Blocky, with drab colours (no faces?!) and very minimal effort to actually make it good to look at.
The skills that you can "upgrade" need both lots of time and patience. I've got to admit - there are a fair few you could play about with. But the more interesting ones you have to pay for. Hmm. Even then it's not worth it - as you still get the same cruddy game with about 3 new skills (might be a 4 actually - been a while since I've played) with about 10 - still crappy looking - weapons/armours/misc. crap. Basically the same as the free version, but in even more drab colours for your enjoyment. ^_^
Music also applies as annoying and crap. I had to mute it on numerous occasions as I couldn't stand it.
The missions are nearly all of the 'Go to X. Bring it to Y. Talk to so&so. Go back to X'. Maybe having to kill someone sometimes.

Most of the people on here I've seen have either scammed (on the occasion I sold a player called 1amstup1d 20 arrows - he walked through a wall and never came back), rudely spoken to, or people trying to grab passwords (they say things like "Runescape censors out your password when you type it! Look! ********! That's my pass!" Only for you to giggle at them when you put something like SantaClaus as your 'pass' then they instantly log out to see if you was telling the truth). Pathetic.
OK - I enjoyed fishing. But then again it looks as if your character is doing something they shouldn't in public...ouch.

The last guy who submitted a review...how can you fully experience crap? lol

Learning to craft my own runes etc for something like £3 a month is a rip-off when you know every spawn spot in the whole of RS. Pathetic game.

I am a level 76 member on runescape. The people that find it boring are either too low to reap the rewards or not a member. To the guy who posted earlier about being level 106 (something aout that) here is my reply to you. Firstly connection quality... Get a faster computer. Secondly customer support/report abuse... get something that actually is worth reporting about and don't use customer support for minor things. They will not ban anyone who swears/offends people unless they get multiple reports. Thirdly people on runescape... if you mix in with the right bunch you wont get so many childish comments lmao.

Now to my review...

Runescape is a highly interactive and addictive online role playing game.

Runescape is made up from 3 core objectives/skills: skills, fighting and quests.

Yes maybe it does take a long time to level up skills but if you know your stuff and mix in the right crowd to get this information you can level up a few skills a week depending on your level.

Fighting is done all over runescape and if you are a low level you'll have to be a higher level than the monster you are fighting. As your level gets higher the range of monsters you can attack without getting killed increases and so does your resources to not be killed.

The game is totally awesome and beats all other games that are in a web browser. In fact I challenge you to find a better web based online rpg. totally rocks.

Awful connection quality and customer support

Ok, they did a pretty good job in the 3D garphics - that is compared to most of the games online. Extremely repetitive, extremely boring, every new addition to the game is making things just harder - once you get to a level 80 in one skil that is making about 250k experience in that skill, and you make it by increases of 100 xp at most. For reaching the max level in a skill (99) you have to do only for the last level 1 million experience points, so see what I'm saying.

Only after you get above level 90 you start gettting a little bit of fun of the game, in terms of what you can do and what kind of money you can make.
Unfortunately, they experience awful lag, so after you work hard to get yourself something good you lose it instantly because of the lag. Customer support is not only non-existant, but it's more like "customer bashing", as everytime you might want to put something about what you don't like on their forums (yeah, they have a "rants" forum) you get your thread locked and get banned. Not to say that there's already a stickie on the forum that you are not allowed to rant about this or that (practically about anything).

The game is full of rude people and comments, even full of sexually obsessed (kids and adults), I have assisted and have been subjected to unbelievable conversations, they have an "abuse report" button that has absolutely no effect.

I got myself to a decent level 106 combat and seriously considering to quit. Honestly, I don't think that just because it's cheap you have to buy membership and play it.

This is one of the most popular game ive ever played, but it can get a little too addicting but its alright. now im 30 years old ive been playing runescape for over 12 years, yea i have to say its an ok game. i think when this game is out of busness people are always gona remeber this as a game of high rank and popularity. why all these kids i see raving about this game, wow its kinda amazing. why later today while i was on my work brake i was just wondering what was going on runescape and i see theres a runescape 2 and i see all the 3d graphics, yes jagex did an ok job. i give this game a thumbs up. now i look foward to telling my son about the best free multiplayer online game there was. Teknology is increasing and very soon they just might pull off a runescape 3. i think that runescape just might go in game history.

best mmorpg ive seen so far

since i was 10 ive played many online game. im 17 now and this one is best one so far. i really think if your looking for a great mmorpg this is it. dont judge it by this site go to there site and check it out. this site is a little out of date and the info the picture see above is very old its alot more 3d and tons special things have been updated. its free you can also pay get alot more quest and terrain venture upon. im lvl 74 and stil find game fun and there always somthing new to work on since its always updated. incase your woundering my userer name is wojo1988. it does have downfalls as any game would it can quite laggy with dial up only if you have other programs runing. it can get boring after awhile. but it get fun again after awhile. im not one of them but alot ppl have got scammed most likly idiots who are weak and well do anything to make friend with high lvl characters. also please email at wojnarek@msn.com cause im searching for best one out there if you there one that i havent played it email me about thank you for the emails that i might receive from one gamer to another peace. : )

O.k, I admit it was o.k at 1st, but it got realllllly boring, I wud never pay 2 play, pointless. And for newbies, its almost impossible to get started

I started playing a while ago, stopped to search for a better one, then came back because of the lack of good MMORPGs. The greatest thing about runescape in my opinion is the diversity of gameplay with many different creaturesto battle and more then one option for almost everything. You can play for free or pay monthly and you can upgrade and downgrade anytime you want. Addictive, fun, interesting and though the graphics aren't the best, they are clear and it is easy to see what things are. Unlike alot of games you can play at your own pace without holding up the world around you (played in realtime) wheres in others of its kind you have to either constantly plan or constantly battle.

I gave it 5 stars, comparing it to the others in its catagory.

this game is good. ull get to like to kill lesser demons, greater demons, the dragon elvard, and the great black dragon. just dont make the same mistake i did with bringing my rune plate body and dragon scimitar in wild.

its O.K.when you first star but when you play for a long time it gets boring because you have nothing to do and it takes so long to gain a level.Its not horrible.The only great thing is you can make friends and chat with other people.at least it had no download required.

rs is freakin bad cause you can get hacked or scammed!!!!!!!!!!and i got hack on a first account then the 2nd got scammed!!!and Jagex didnt do &%$# about it!!!!
